Industry requires more stringent quality of water than produced by two bed demineralizing plant. Mixed Bed Deionizers are designed to produce high purity treated water required by the industries. Mixed bed exchanger as the name states consists of strong acid cation resin and strong base anion resin mixed together evenly. The mixed bed polisher consists of a special vessel into which is loaded both strong base anion and strong acid cation resins. The cation resin anion, being denser, is always on the bottom of the vessel after backwashing.

These units can be used as polishing units after two bed deionizers or directly to obtain high purity water.
